THE INCLUSIVE CULTURE BLUEPRINT
Turn inclusion
into everyday working practice.
A complete 12-month rollout system combining short, story-led video learning, practical tools for managers and teams, ready-made implementation and communication materials, and measurement.
Built around the hidden barriers that cut across identities and life circumstances.
Your organisation can improve everyday working practices without first having to understand every diagnosis, disability, identity or personal circumstance, and people do not have to disclose something personal before inclusion begins.
Start with the barriers people share
Most inclusion learning begins with a particular identity, diagnosis or disability.
Each perspective matters. But when every group becomes a separate learning track, inclusion can quickly become fragmented and difficult to translate into consistent everyday practice.
The Blueprint starts with recurring barriers in ordinary working life: unclear expectations, unspoken rules, inflexible norms and assumptions about how people communicate, participate and perform.
Real experiences from LGBT+, neurodivergent and disabled professionals, carers and professionals from minoritised ethnic and cultural backgrounds show how the same barrier can affect people for different reasons.
Identity provides the context.
The barrier is the focus.
Better practice is the outcome.
The result is a shared foundation for inclusion: fewer disconnected initiatives, clearer actions for managers and teams, and better practice built into the way work already happens.
WHO THIS IS FOR
For organisations ready to turn inclusion into everyday practice
The Blueprint is for organisations that want to establish a shared foundation for practical inclusion across the workforce, without creating a major internal project.
It is a strong fit if your organisation wants to
Build shared understanding across the workforce
Use short, story-led learning to create a common language, rather than limiting inclusion learning to specialists or selected groups.
Give people something practical to do differently
Equip managers and teams with tools they can use in meetings, feedback, one-to-ones, onboarding and social events.
Fit implementation into the way work already happens
Follow a structured rollout that works through existing organisational rhythms and can be managed by one internal owner.
Measure whether everyday barriers are reducing
Look beyond training completion and track whether people experience meaningful changes in everyday working life.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
The Blueprint gives your organisation a structured learning path, so everyone builds a shared understanding of the diversity within the workforce and the barriers we can all help remove.
InklusioNordic HUB Premium membership is included for your entire organisation.
It gives your people access to additional learning, expert input and resources throughout the year. When a topic becomes relevant because something changes within a team, the relevant learning is already there.
One system to implement.
Additional learning available all year.

THE LEARNING PATH
Nine themes that make inclusion recognisable in everyday working life
INTRO
Hidden Barriers at Work
The barriers you do not see, until one day you do.
The programme opens with Hidden Barriers at Work, a short introductory video that establishes the shared-barrier approach.
It then explores nine familiar aspects of working life, one theme at a time.
Each theme includes a short, story-led video, dialogue cards for teams and a practical tool for managers.
1
What you see is not
what is happening.
How familiar behaviour can mean something different from what we assume.
2
The great idea
that was never shared.
How meeting formats influence who prepares, participates and contributes.
3
Why some colleagues
leave the party early.
How lunches, celebrations and informal gatherings shape who feels at home in the team.
4
When humour lands differently.
What some jokes, compliments and questions communicate without us realising.
5
The effort of fitting in.
Why an ordinary working day requires more energy from some colleagues than others.
6
When "clear" means different things.
How timing, format and unspoken expectations affect whether people know what to do next.
7
What gets noticed at work.
How we recognise contribution, commitment and potential, and what we may overlook.
8
One workplace, more ways to work.
How small choices around noise, light, layout and flexibility help more people contribute.
9
When inclusion suddenly becomes personal.
How grief, divorce, menopause, stress or illness reveals that an inclusive culture was not just for someone else.
Nine themes with practical changes that help more people participate, contribute and thrive.
See what one theme gives your organisation
FROM INSIGHT TO PRACTICE
Each theme combines story-led video learning with ready-made activation materials, including copy and graphics for your intranet and social channels, and practical tools for managers and teams.
Your organisation chooses how to use them through your LMS, internal communications, manager briefings, team dialogue, shift meetings or a combination that fits your operational reality.
1. STORY-LED LEARNING
Make the barrier recognisable
A short video brings together real experiences and shows how an ordinary working situation can affect people differently.
2. FLEXIBLE ACTIVATION
Bring the insight into your organisation
Ready-made copy and graphics, manager guidance and optional dialogue cards help you activate the theme across different roles, locations and working environments.
3. PRACTICAL TOOLS
Support better everyday practice
Managers and teams receive a practical tool that helps turn the insight into a small, repeatable change to the way work already happens.
Example theme
The great idea that was never shared
The barrier:
A meeting or briefing is arranged without making clear its purpose, key questions or what people should prepare.
The insight:
An autistic colleague explains what being in a meeting can feel like and why contributing “on the spot” can be difficult. A colleague working in their second language explains how being unable to prepare can affect their confidence and leave a valuable idea unshared.
The video then widens the lens. An agenda shared in advance can also help someone caring for a newborn, navigating grief or going through a divorce. It is an inclusive practice that some people need every day and many of us may need at different points in life.
The practical change:
Share the purpose and key questions in advance, and provide more than one way to contribute.
This theme could be shared through your LMS or internal channels, introduced by a manager during a team or shift briefing, pushed out through QR codes to scan, or explored through the optional dialogue cards.
IMPLEMENTATION
How the rollout works
A clear 12-month rollout, adapted to your organisation
1. Prepare and launch.
Confirm the internal owner, delivery route and rollout rhythm. Complete the anonymised baseline measurement where possible. If a company-wide survey is not feasible at the outset, you can begin without it and add it later.
We provide the leadership framing, launch materials and ready-made communication needed to introduce the approach across your organisation.
2. Roll out one theme at a time.
The nine themes are released in a sequence people can absorb and use. Each combines short video learning, activation materials and practical tools.
Themes can be delivered through your LMS, internal channels, manager or shift briefings, team dialogue or a combination adapted to your operational reality.
3. Measure the change.
Follow-up measurement and the annual results report show whether recurring everyday barriers have reduced, where they remain and what to prioritise next.
Designed to work through your existing learning, communication and management rhythms, and to be manageable by one internal owner.
No new internal project team or parallel implementation structure is required.
No commitment. It’s just a chat.
